During the Nintendo Direct this morning, Nintendo revealed that Best Buy stores across the US and Canada will offer playable demos of their E3 games next month. This allows consumers to “play some of the unreleased Wii U games featured at E3 while the event is occurring in Los Angeles.”
The Wonderful 101 Boxart
Earlier today, Amazon listed The Wonderful 101 with a boxart, which hasn’t been revealed elsewhere. The boxart also looks very nice, very colorful and vibrant. The Wonderful 101 will be released exclusively for the Wii U on September 15th. Will you be getting The Wonderful 101?
Pikmin 3 Details
Nintendo has released some new info about Pikmin 3′s plot, as well as the European release date. The game will release on July 26th in Europe (August 4th in North America).
You will be controlling three characters simultaneously, named Alph, Brittany and Charlie. Using the GamePad, you can micromanage what you want these characters to do. The game doesn’t need the GamePad to function; you can play with the GamePad and TV, the Wii Remote and TV or on the Game Pad with or without the Wii Remote.
The premise of the game sees our heroes crash land on a strange planet inhabited with Pikmin. They decide to use the Pikmin to bring back fruit and seeds to their home-planet of Koppai to save it from some sort of threat.
New Super Luigi U Release Date

New Super Luigi U will release digitally as Downloadable Content for New Super Mario Bros. U owners on June 20th. The game will also get its own retail release, coming July 26 in Europe and August 28 in North America (boxart pictured above). If you plan to buy the game digitally, a copy of New Super Mario Bros. U is required.
Mario will not be making an appearance in this game, so Nabbit, a thief you can encounter in the main game, will become playable along with blue and yellow Toads and Luigi. Nabbit cannot use power-ups, and he also cannot take damage.
The Wonderful 101 Release Date
Nintendo has announced during today’s Nintendo Direct that Platinum Games’ The Wonderful 101 will be releasing on August 23rd in Europe, and September 15th in North America, exclusively to Wii U.
Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games Announced
A new Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games has been announced for the Wii U. It will take place in Sochi, tying into the 2014 Olympics.
The game will support Wii Remote Plus controllers, and will feature new events such as figure skating pairs and snowboard slope style. The GamePad will be used in a few different ways, such as drawing lines to the target in curling.
There will also be a mode called green events that take place in the Sonic and Mario universes. In this mode, you can pull off impossible stunts. No release date has been announced, but you can expect it to come before or during February 2014.
Sonic: Lost World Coming to 3DS and Wii U
Nintendo has announced a new and exclusive partnership with SEGA for its Sonic titles. The first game under this new partnership will be Soinc: Lost World for 3DS and Wii U. Nothing else is known about this game, besides that it will be an action-adventure platformer. More details are promised before E3.

Scribblenauts Unmasked Officially Revealed
Although it has been reported and rumoured for quite some time, WB Games has finally officially unveiled Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure. The game will be developed by 5th Cell, the studio that has been in charge of the series since the original, and it will be releasing on the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC later this year.
The game takes place in the DC universe, allowing you to summon any character from the company’s beloved franchises. According to IGN’s preview, Unmasked features over 2000 characters, ranging from “33 variations of Batman to obscure trivia-bait who only appeared on a single panel of a Flash comic back in the ‘70s.” And unlike in Unlimited, all characters can be edited in the object editor.

Japanese Eevee Nintendo 3DS XL now revealed
Today, the Japanese Eevee Nintendo 3DS XL in Japan was officially revealed. The special edition 3DS XL can only be bought by winning a lottery to celebrate Pokemon Center’s 15th anniversary. The lottery begins today and ends June 3rd, and if you win, you can purchase it on June 22nd.
